Bernal Heights Park is a local favorite for walking paths, colorful wildflowers, and 360-degree views from the top. To its north and south, respectively, Precita Park is popular with families and dog lovers, and Holly Park is a hidden gem.

The area has some of the steepest streets in San Francisco and the homes have incredible views, especially on the coveted northern slope of Bernal Hill. On the south side, Cortland Avenue is the main commercial strip and boasts unique cafes and shops like Epicurian Trading Co., Healthy Spirits, Good Life Groceries, and Barebottle Brewing Co.
