Anza Vista sits atop a hill due east of the University of San Francisco which affords it some great city views. While anchored in its northwest corner by the City Center San Francisco shopping mall, the neighborhood is primarily a residential one. A majority of the architecture dates from the 1930s and 1940s with a Spanish Mediterranean flair along with some slightly more streamline Art Deco homes. Most homes enjoy yards and ample parking.
