Since 1938, the annual admission-free Stern Grove Festival draws a wide range of musical performers and thousands of attendees to the Parkside neighborhood for ten weeks every summer. The San Francisco Symphony and San Francisco Ballet are longtime partners of the Festival in its mission to make the arts accessible to all.
Fun Fact: The Sunset Reservoir occupies eight square blocks, and atop it is California’s largest photovoltaic system.
