At the southern end of neighborhood, Grand View Park is a local favorite and a closely guarded secret — a hot spot for dog owners, with a number of wooded trails, a tennis court, picnic tables and a playground. Though it’s only about the size of a city block, Grand View Park is home to many native species of flora, giving botany buffs a peek at what San Francisco looked like before it was unsettled.
