While commerce is strictly prohibited within St. Francis Wood, urban amenities are found across Portola Drive in the West Portal neighborhood. Specialty retailers, cafes, fashion boutiques, diverse dining options, and a theater are all here. Additionally, the West Portal MUNI lightrail station connects St. Francis Wood with downtown and the southern-most reaches of the city.
