central richmond
Stretching along the northern perimeter of Golden Gate Park from 32nd Avenue to Park Presidio, Central Richmond (and its Inner and Outer counterparts) encompasses a large, flat span of San Francisco. The neighborhood is wonderfully diverse with many second and third generation families. Housing options are as varied and established; single-family homes, condos and multi-unit properties span the architectural spectrum from Victorian to mid-century.

Golden Gate Park offers an abundance of unique recreational opportunities, with archery and polo fields, fly fishing ponds and dog runs, beautiful walking paths and seasonal outdoor concerts.
Clement Street, the primary commercial corridor, is becoming increasingly popular with neighborhood newcomers who appreciate its vibrant mix of ethnic dining, pubs and karaoke bars; you can find a Korean business next door to a Russian one, across the street from an Irish pub. Notwithstanding all the conveniences of city life, the area retains a casual, homey quality.
