Perched on Rincon Hill – one of San Francisco’s original seven hills – 430 Main will rise alongside the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. Continuing a theme of marrying old and new, the proposed structure’s facade will feature modern floor-to-ceiling glass and repeating angular bays that mimic the trusses of its landmark neighbor. While the historic Embarcadero is a stones throw to the east, to the northwest is the new Transbay Terminal and Salesforce Park. The project will include 144 studio, one-, and two-bedroom condominium residences.
