1580 Pacific Avenue, JS Sullivan Development's latest project to break ground in San Francisco, will bring 53 residential condos to the corner of Polk and Pacific. Get the details and explore more Nob Hill new construction here.
With brand new condominium projects now selling in Lower Pacific Heights (Noir), Civic Center (Elevant) and South of Market (Maison à SOMA), JS Sullivan Development is a force to be reckoned with in the boutique development space. From luxuriously modern full-floor homes to denser, edgier designs for the common San Francisco home buyer, we’re a fan of their contributions to the net new housing inventory of all shapes and sizes this city so desperately needs. And now, they have a new project that recently broke ground in Nob Hill: 1580 Pacific Avenue.

Rendering of the southwest corner of 1580 Pacific Avenue, courtesy of rg-architecture. The development plan includes two townhomes and garage access on Pacific Avenue, and the residential lobby alongside three commercial spaces on Polk Street.

This mixed use project occupying the southwest corner of Pacific Avenue and Polk Street consists of six levels of residential condominiums alongside commercial space. Of the 53 dwelling units, 9 are BMRs. Most homes are 1- and 2-Bedroom layouts. Notably, there are two townhome-style residences with private entrances, and all 3-Bedroom homes are located on the top floor (two of those should have a view of the Golden Gate Bridge). In keeping with JS Sullivan Development’s recent projects, shared amenities are limited to lobby, garage and outdoor areas.

1580 Pacific Avenue floor plan renderings created by rg-architecture and presented to the Planning Commission in December 2020. Notice that most 2-Bedroom residences have an ideal layout with bedrooms at opposite sides; all 2-Bedroom residences feature two full bathrooms. The penthouse level includes all unit sizes. Click here to view the entire document with renderings and elevations.

It’s really too early to place bets, but we may see sales begin around Spring 2023 assuming construction progresses smoothly. We’ll be following this project as it rises, and keep our VIPs in the know. Stay tuned to our Instagram stories for updates on the go.
