Nearby Golden Gate Park is the primary recreation destination for residents, but the area is also studded with small green public spaces. Off the beaten path but no less beloved, the soaring views from atop Grand View Park stretch from Ocean Beach to the East Bay.

The neighborhood’s diversity is reflected in the variety of dining opportunities found within commercial pockets along Irving Street and 9th Avenue: a noodle house, Irish pub and gelato shop may all be found in close proximity. Don’t miss the weekly Inner Sunset Farmers’ Market!
